Documentary photographer based in Hungary, available for local projects as well as international assignments.

She was born in Pécs (Hu) in 1987.

“I have always been a contemplative person; I read a lot as a child. I gladly leant against the railing on our fourth-floor balcony to narrate the imaginary discourses of the people coming and going in the housing estate, to invent stories about them.”

In her last years of high school, she discovered photography as a form of expression. She did not study this subject at university yet; she graduated in history in 2011. The hobby gradually became her passion, her way of life, and then her profession as well: she is a freelance photojournalist and documentary storyteller.

Although she absorbs everything about photography mainly as an autodidact, over time she also qualified as an applied photographer and graphic designer. Her turn towards documentary photography was confirmed once and for all by her graduation from Photojournalism (2016–2017) at the Bálint György Journalism Academy of MÚOSZ (Association of Hungarian Journalists).

She sees the camera as a tool that allows her to "legally" get involved in unexpected situations and be present on occasions where she should have no business at all being there. She can meet people she would not otherwise cross paths with. She works with storytelling to give voice to the issues that matter to her. Rather than chasing after pretentious images, she sometimes likes to resort to everyday subjects. In her long-term projects, she is interested in the dynamics of communities; she approaches her subjects with an athropologist attitude. She works with a solution-oriented focus; in addition to highlighting negative trends, it inspires her to share with viewers and readers forward-looking initiatives and efforts to improve the situation.
